Back to school ... just in time

The last week of my summer internship had just begun. I was staring at a blank Excel spreadsheet and reflecting on the summer. It had been a great experience - I learned a ton, made a healthy amount of cash, and met some great people. I'm not sure if I'd become brainwashed in the confines of the bank, or if I was just caught in a moment of temporary stupidity, but I was beginning to question my desire for another year of school.

Around the world in 50 days

In addition to summer internships and exchange programs, over 50 Wharton students volunteered in 14 developing countries worldwide, as part of the Wharton International Volunteer Program (WVIP). Twenty-one projects took place in Africa, Asia and Latin America in fields ranging from healthcare to education to microfinance.

Welcome to a new school year, Wharton! September is a fantastic time to be a Wharton MBA. The Class of 2006 has completed Pre-term and, with just over two weeks of the first quarter complete, may be beginning to realize just how busy life as an MBA can be! Meanwhile, the Class of 2005 has returned from summer positions which took them to every corner of the globe and are looking forward to what promises to be one of the best years of their lives!

My Fellow Classmates, The Wharton Graduate Association (WGA) is proud to publish the 2004-2005 fiscal year budget.
