Wharton convenes new Leadership Advisory Board

The inaugural meeting of the Wharton Leadership Advisory Board was convened on Wednesday, November 10. Spearheaded by Todd Thomson (WG'87), chairman and CEO of the Wealth Management Sector at Citigroup, the group's charter is to provide counsel and direction to the Wharton administration, faculty, and student body on the role of leadership education and experience.

As Chairman of Gabelli Funds, Inc., the advisor to the Gabelli family of mutual funds and the money management firm Gabelli Asset Management Company (GAMCO), Gabelli is responsible for some $30 billion of client assets under management.

Wharton has been making a huge difference in our communities through many volunteer efforts. Thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who have been involved with events ranging from cleaning up our communities and helping to rehabilitate houses for low-income families, to tutoring Philadelphia high school students and donating blood to save lives.

WWIB holds 25th conference and Pink Pub

Did you attend Pink Pub? If so, you attended Wharton Women in Business' first ever event organized for all MBA students. Wharton men often seem a little perplexed by this club and its mission. WWIB's mission is to promote women's continued success as leaders in business and beyond, and to enhance the MBA experience for women by fostering camaraderie among women.
