Lew Platt shares leadership lessons and ethical vision

Lew Platt WG '66, current non-executive Chairman of Boeing, former Chairman and CEO of HP, and former CEO of Kendall-Jackson Wines, continued his exemplary service to the Wharton community with a full day of leadership learning. Mr. Platt's lectures to three sections of MGMT 652 and to the general Wharton community reflected the lessons he learned during his remarkable career and reinforced two important messages, "Leadership can be learned" and "Ethics is the cornerstone of leadership.

"Stop the boat!" "Weigh enough!" "Mother of God, square your blades NOW!" The boat shuddered to a halt just ahead of the foot of the bridge and the crew exhaled.
