Exclusive interview: Citi'sTodd Thomson

The Wharton Journal was in New York recently to interview Mr. Todd Thomson (WG'87), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Citigroup's Global Wealth Management Division. Mr. Thomson is not only a distinguished alumnus of the Wharton MBA program, but also a close friend of the school, and Chairman of the Wharton Leadership Advisory Board. As head of one of three Citigroup divisions reporting directly to the CEO of the world's largest financial institution, Mr. Thomson is responsible for The Citigroup Private Bank, Smith Barney, and Citigroup Investment Research, which together have $1.3 trillion in client assets and 26,000 employees. He is also a Director of Citigroup North America.
