The upcoming Wharton China Business Forum is scheduled on March 25th at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. The theme of this year's conference is Global Alliances: Forging a New Era. The conference will be specifically dedicated to the discussion of issues Chinese companies face in order to emerge in the global market.

The conference keynote includes Mr. Rodney Ward, Chairman of UBS Asia who is currently in charge of the Bank of China IPO. The dual listing of the second largest Bank in China has been extremely high-profile and received much political attention from the Beijing government. In addition, Mr. Deepak Advani, Senior VP and CMO of Lenovo will address the audience. Mr. Advani served as the VP of Marketing for IBM'sPersonal'sPersonals Personal Computing Division before the merger, and will present some of the challenges Chinese companies face when pursuing oversea expansion through mergers. This year's conference also includes a case study presented by Mr. Malcolm Bricklin, CEO of Visionary Vehicles. The company will become the first U.S. company to import Chinese-manufactured cars into the North America market. As this year China has officially become a net exporter of vehicles, this case study is especially timely and relevant to the understanding of the Chinese economy.

All students interested in learning about the Chinese economy and future business trends are encouraged to attend. It is also a great networking opportunity for students, as various company representatives will be present. The Wharton China Business Forum offers Early Bird special until March 1 9th.
