1. To give everyone who doesn't know how an opportunity to learn and those that do know how an opportunity to actually play. Typical work life can often make golf hard to accommodate given the meaningful time commitment it requires to play a round.

2. Most popular event tends to be any sort of scramble event, where golfers pick the best ball on every shot - tends to allow golfers of all skill levels to contribute to the team score.

3. Biggest challenge is getting people to make the 4 hour time commitment on a Friday, which typically requires waking up early after Thursday night's festivities.

4. I'm sure many interesting things happen to our golf balls...after we've lost them.

5. Average handicap is around 24. Yes, it's a low bar.

6. Watch Happy Gilmore and come on out.
